The Coronavirus pandemic now starts to affect our shipping abilities. Up until two weeks ago we could rely on the safe reasonably priced postal services of Deutsche Post to ship our products world wide. Deutsche Post now has stopped accepting shipments to certain countries around the world and shipments started to be returned to us this week (only from the US at this point). Currently this mostly affects North, Central and South America, Africa and Asia. Within Europe we can still ship mostly unimpaired. In some cases there are country specific alternatives available that we will consider on a case by case basis, contacting each affected customer.
What does that mean for my order?
Production will move forward as usual on a first come first serve basis. Every order that is ready for shipping and can be shipped without any impediments will be shipped as usual.
If your are located in a country we currently can not ship to and your order is two weeks away from its manufacturing slot, you will be contacted via email.
If you want to place an order
- If you are located in the red zone we advise you not to order at this point.
- If you ware located in the yellow zone please contact us beforehand. Given the current lead time of 8 to 10 weeks the status of your shipping destination can potentially change until your order is ready for shipping. Please don’t bet on that and contact us beforehand.
- If you are in the green zone you will most likely be fine. Although we can not guarantee the situation will not change.
The above as at April 18th. This page will be updated as necessary.
